Die organische Leuchtdiode als Beleuchtung der Zukunft

Mit der Leitinnovation "OLED 2015" der Bundesregierung konnten Forschungsaktivitäten gebündelt und Fertigungsaktiviäten initiiert werden. Wo steht die OLED-Entwicklung aktuell in Deutschland? Noch vor 25 Jahren war es nicht vorstellbar, dass Kunststoffe aus organischen Polymeren ein wichtiger Grundbaustein für Lichtquellen mit hoher Energieeffizienz sein werden. Ausschließlich als preiswerter Isolator wurden sie in der Elektrotechnik und Elektronik vielfältig eingesetzt. Inzwischen haben sich organische Leuchtdioden, deren lichtemittierende Schicht aus spezifischen Kohlenwasserstoffverbindungen besteht, neben der anorganischen LED zur Lichtquelle mit großem Zukunftspotential entwickelt.  Zum Artikel...

A warm welcome to oled–olab.net: the OLED-network OLAB!

The network OLAB was founded as a joint union of thirteen partners in cooperation with Philips Lighting in Germany

Organic LEDs are a fundamentally new, energy-efficient light technology for illumination solutions. With the successful development of a basic technology for the production of such light elements, the first branches of application start emerging.  Out of this network, exhibition pieces shall be worked out through shared projects for the production of prototypes for light application in the industry with the focus on image processing.

There will be an international platform for the exchange of information from producers and future operators of OLED as illumination for industrial applications (image processing, microscopy, Medicine, Automotive).

Within the network, innovative projects will be jointly conducted.

The network OLAB is an example for success

Since November, 2011 the network OLAB is presented as a ZIM NEMO-example for success by the project executing organization.
